Everybody dies but not everyone lives

I’m a rebel. I’m a line crosser. Hell, even as a child I never colored in the lines. And I’m okay with that.

The thing you have to understand about me is one, single, solitary fact: I’m not perfect.

Neither are you.

I’ve done things in my life I’m not proud of.

So have you.

I’ve made mistakes.

I’ll bet you have too.

I have a wellspring of regrets.

So do you.

But the one thing in my life that I have done; something that I am proud of always doing; is following my heart, even when the voices whispering in my ear tell me not to. Still, my heart has never steered me wrong. It’s brought me here, to this place, and I’m exactly where I need to be to do precisely what I need to do.

Here’s the thing:
Only you know your heart. Only YOU know what your heart wants. So why are you sitting behind your screen waiting for answers from the universe? You know what you want…go get it. Go make it happen.

Build a door when every door is shut in your face. Throw a brick through the windows slammed on your fingers. Never quit. Never give up. I’m not.

Take a risk. Make it a big one.

Because if you don’t take that risk, you’ll never have the reward; even if that reward is merely learning a lesson you were meant to learn all along.

What is it YOU should be doing right now instead of reading this blog? Speak it. Leave a comment. Get it out there. Then, go do it. No more excuses.

Today’s choice for my ‘Soundtrack of Life’ is Crossing the Line because that's leg two of this race for me:
